Delete your data
This page explains how to delete your data from The Last Run, the mobile game published by Navaye, either inside the game or, if you no longer have it, by email. It also lists what is deleted, what is kept and for how long.
The game has no username or password. Your data is held on a profile known to us by a random player ID, optionally linked to Google Play Games. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
1.Delete in the game
This is the fastest way, and it works whether or not you ever linked Play Games.
- Open The Last Run and make sure you are online.
- On the title screen, open Settings.
- Under ACCOUNT & LEGAL, tap Delete my data.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete everything.
Your profile is deleted from our servers straight away, the game clears everything it saved on the phone (settings, best distance, run count, the last bag, the cached wallet and inventory, queued actions and the sign-in session), and it starts again with a fresh, empty anonymous profile. If you are offline, nothing is deleted and the game tells you it needs a connection.
Each Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account has its own profile. Delete my data deletes the profile of the account the game is signed in to at that moment; to delete another account’s profile, sign in to the game with that account and use Delete my data again.
This cannot be undone. Deleting your data permanently removes every Can, crate and item on your profile, including ones you paid for. They are not refunded.
2.Delete without the game
If you have uninstalled the game or no longer have the phone, you can ask us to delete your data by email, without reinstalling anything.
Email [email protected] with the subject "The Last Run: delete my data".
Because we hold no name, email address or phone number for players, please quote one of these so we can find your profile:
- your player ID, shown at the bottom of Settings in the game, for example "ID: bc30-4876" (long-press it to copy); or
- the Google Play order number (it starts with "GPA.") of any Cans purchase you made, from your Google Play order history or receipt email.
Navaye uses these only to find and verify your profile. We check every request against our records before deleting anything, we reply to confirm what we found, and we may ask for more information if we cannot be sure the profile is yours; this protects you from someone else deleting your data. Verified requests are completed within 30 days of receipt.
If you have neither, write to us anyway with what you remember and we will try. If you linked Google Play Games, you can also install the game on any Android phone, sign in to the same Play Games account to bring your profile back, and use Delete my data as above.
3.What we delete
- Your player profile and its random player ID.
- Your wallet (Cans) and inventory (crates and items).
- Your economy history: crates and items bought with Cans, crates opened and what they gave, items used, refunds, and profile links and merges.
- Your run reports (distance, time and crates found) and daily crate-find counts.
- Your link to Google Play Games or Apple Game Center.
- Every anonymous sign-in record and session that belonged to the profile.
- The customer record RevenueCat, our purchase processor, holds under your player ID: we ask RevenueCat to delete it at the same time.
4.What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records. For each Cans purchase we keep the store’s order number, the store, the product, the Cans it credited, its status and its dates, with the link to your profile removed. We keep them for as long as accounting and tax law requires, currently up to eight financial years in India.
- Backups and security logs. Deleted data can remain in our hosting provider’s encrypted backups and security logs for a limited period until they are overwritten in the normal rotation. They are never used to restore a deleted profile.
- Your email to us. If you asked by email, we keep the correspondence as a record of your request for up to 24 months.
- Anything a law requires. Where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, we keep only that, for as long as the obligation or claim lasts.
Inactive profiles. Even if you never ask, a weekly job deletes every profile that was never linked to Play Games or Game Center and either is more than 90 days old, has had no activity on our servers for 90 days and holds no Cans and no items, or has had no activity for 2 years, even if it still holds Cans or items. Profiles linked to Play Games or Game Center are kept until they are deleted.
5.Data held by others
Deleting your data from The Last Run does not delete data held by other companies under their own policies:
- Google keeps your Google Play purchase and payment history and your Play Games account. Manage them in your Google account.
- Apple (once the iOS version ships) keeps your App Store purchase history and Game Center account.
- RevenueCat may keep records of transactions it processed for us as its own policies and the law require, after deleting the customer record.
Delete my data in the game also clears everything the game saved on the phone. If you deleted by email, uninstall the game or clear its storage to remove what is left on the phone.
6.Timelines
- In the game: immediate.
- By email: Navaye acknowledges your request within 24 hours, verifies it against our records, and completes it within 30 days of receipt, or tells you within that time why we need longer.
- Backups: overwritten in our hosting provider’s normal rotation after deletion.
- Purchase records: kept, unlinked from you, for the legal retention period above, then deleted.
